Great Tools For Wellness

Here are my favorite tools for wellness: therapies and practices to help you in building a better life for yourself and your family.

The central theme of this site as you may know if you've had a good look around, is that to be a good mom we need to look after our own wellbeing first. If we're happy then our kids are far more likely to be happy; happiness is the key to being a good mom! Self love is also a prerequisite to successful motherhood.

There are many tools that can be useful in helping you towards happiness and wellness. wellness, happiness, fulfillment My definition of wellness includes all aspects of the person; it is wellbeing of body, mind, emotions and spirit. I think it is important to consider all aspects of life when looking at making any improvements as the different aspects will effect each other.

Massage

Massage is just so wonderfully soothing and relaxing. It is so great for relieving stress and tension. Even self massage is really beneficial. I like to give myself a body massage in the bath with exfoliating gloves; it's so great for my skin.

Yoga

Yoga has both a physical and spiritual component, and is often used as part of meditative practice.I practice yoga regularly and find it really helps to quiet my mind and strengthen my body.

Meditation

Meditation is also great for calming the mind and helping to get things in perspective. I'm a beginner meditator, but I find guided meditations helpful and great for de-stressing.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy accesses the subconscious mind and makes it much easier to change limiting beliefs. I took my youngest son to a specialist hypnotherapist who told him a story related to his issue, and we have seen a steady improvement in his condition since.

Hypnotherapy guides you into a state of deep relaxation where new thoughts and ideas can be planted into your subconscious allowing new choices in doing, being and thinking.

Life Coaching

Life coaching is fantastic when you're dissatisfied with life and want things to change, but don't know where to begin. A life coach is your trusted partner who will always cheer for you, ask the right questions to hewlp you reach the right decisions for you, and hold you accountable for any commitments you make.

having a trusted partner to support and encourage helps to fulfill potential, gets results by providing structure and support, helps get rid of road blocks, will hold you accountable, gets you focused and increases confidence and self belief

Pilates

Pilates is a fantastic targeted muscle exercise regime, it's a great partner to yoga. The movements are small, but very powerful. It is particularly good for stengthening the back and flattening the abdomen, so great after pregnancy! It is suitable for all levels of fitness.

Try Them Out For Yourself

These various tools for wellness will assist you in your journey away from stress and towards success, happiness and fulfillment. I urge you to give them a go, you'll be glad you did!
